Redang Trip Day 3

Third day on our Redang trip... well, after all the usual activities (fight for toilet and breakfast, even though the food not that good...), we went to another famous snorkelling spot, which is the... MARINE PARK!!!!

after wearing our goggle and life jacket, off we go to that little island by bus... or is it by helicopter? i can't remember... (=.='' who am i kidding... =.='' sorry ah.. got tired of saying the word boat... ) anyway, after yesterday's snorkelling trip, the girls know what kind of interactive that they can do with the fishes... since they didn't bring any bread for this trip, they paksa daniel to beg for bread crumbs from strangers... so sad... =.=''

anyway, after the girls finally got thier bread crumbs, they excitingly rush into the water, and start throwing the food all over the place... but as exciting as feeding fishes might sound, but reality will always turn out to be totally different from imagination... 1 second after they throw the crumbs, the girl's exciting look quickly turn into horrified look, and started screaming... you won't believe how fierce those fishes are... they'll bite anything that entered the water... luckily they don't have big mouth, or else we might lost a few limbs or two... =.='' i've tried to hold a piece of bread with my two finger, but those fishes was so hungry, they almost eatten my finger along with the bread!!

enough of the fishes... let's talk about the water... after all, all we can talk about snorkelling are fishes, water, and corals... =.='' most of the gang doesn't know how to swim, has gotten a tube to hold on to... by using the tube, they can go to deeper side of the sea to look at those not so beutiful corals...

there i was, minding my own business, laughing at other unfortunate tourists harrass by school of fishes, i heard that the girls have drifted too far away by the strong current... of course like all other guys, i wanted to act hero so i volunteered to drag them back to the beach... with my beutiful freestyle, i was able to reach them in no time (actually they are not too far from the beach... it's just that they can't fight the current...)

after i reached them, i pulled thier tube, and started to swim toward the shore... after a while, when i tried to catch my breath and estimate the distance between me and the shore, i was so suprise that... I NEVER MOVE AT ALL!!! damn it can you believe it?? i was still on the same spot... damn those heavy girl...

opps... i mean strong current =.=''...

after a few more tries, i have lost all my breath and strength, and decided to save them the hard way.... instead of trying to swim, i decided to stand up and pull them to shore... in case you're confused, we're actually damn close to the shore... =.='' we don't dare to stand up because the sea bed was full of pointy dead corals... =.='' ouch...

after fed up with the same corals and fishes near the shore, daniel and i decided to explore the rest of the snorkelling spot... we've dragged elaine and... i think anna.. or sim wei... to the deeper part of the sea... nothing much exxtra, except the fish was alot more bigger, and the coral was more magnificent looking... one of the coral groups look so huge, that you'll think that it's like big apartment for fishes... too bad... no photo... next time we go again i can show you.. :)

after the whistle was blown, we went back to the jeti and wait for the boat to fetch us... while waiting for the boat, i've showned wan yian they all the strength of my muscle... i still don't know why they laughed when i unbuckled the life jacket by using my stomach muscle alone... =.=''

anyway, we've went back to the resort after the snorkelling session... after a quick lunch and some rest, we have to choose whether to get another snorkelling session or go for jungle tracking... after grew tired of all the salt water we've drank and fishes, we decided to go for jungle trekking...

there we are... walking under the hot sun... we went into the forest located just behind our resort... those who jungle trekked before will know there isn't anything exciting to see, except the sweats you'll get from all the climbing and in my case, scare of liches and prepare to scream the moment i spot a lich... luckily there aren't any... :)




after hours of climbing and sweating, we finally reached our destination, berjaya's private beach resort... damn the beach over this side is way more whiter that the one we saw and the sea is so much clearer... totally blue color leh!!! damn cool... can see the bottom of the sea summore... but for some reason the sea over this side is lifeless... so although it's so much beutiful, but i don't really like it too much... =.='''



anyway, in order to reach our boat, we have to cross a float bridge... i can't stop wandering what will happend if i jump up and down when they are crossing the bridge... =.='' took me great effort to control myself... =.=''





after all the exhausted activities, we decided to take a break and hang out at our beach... like yesterday, chong they all decided to play sports, and they've chosen volley ball.. =.='' the last time i play volley ball is with kindergarden teacher in my secondary school versus headmaster DURING inter class football match... =.=''

i don't really wanna talk about my volley ball skill again, but wan yian did suprisingly good!!


and like yesterday, we've drawn quite a number of people to join us... in the end, both teams looked like this...
well, the whole game was dominated by other players and chong they all... daniel also played very good... me... damn good in catching balls with my face... =.=''

did you guys remembered the movie that richie ren and sammy acted? i think the title is summer's mo mo char or something... anyway, i think it's not a big secret that they shoot the film in redang... in honour of film, a replica of the house in the film was made near the laguna resort, and we decided to pay the house a visit... enough talk, more photos...


and on our way back to the resort, sim wei has spotted a F1 driver!!!

when we are taking a photo in front of the laguna resort, and pretend that we lived there, we saw a shiny dead bug lying on the beach... you'll be suprise how a dead bug can entertain us... after playing with it's dead body (mostly involving may yoong holding the bug and scare the shit out of every girl's pants [especially mine...]), chong has made a grave for the little bugga and we've prayed for it's safe journey to the big bug kingdom in the sky...



since this is the last day of our redang trip, as usual, we decided to go and buy souvenirs... actually i didn't follow them... i think i'm taking a shower or a nap that time... =.='' anyway, after i found out that they went out without me, i asked them to teman me go again.. hoho...

anyway, after we were back from shopping, the gangs decided to visit the pub near laguna beach resort... yong hui and the gang went before the rest of us... this is because anna was so caught up with the "big 2" game that she won't let us leave before she win 1 round... =.=''





anyway, after letting yong hui they all wait for at least 1 and half hours, we finally show up at that pub... actually it's a shack build beside the beach, with people dancing in a small hut... never dance with wan yian they all before, i keep insisting them to go out and dance with me, but got rejected... =.=''' looks like i'm not handsome enough for them... =.=''


after consuming more cup noodles, chong and gang decided to go back to thier room... well except phan, because he decided to take a walk with us around the beach... we've talked and joke alot during the walk... mostly involving sexual stuff... you can't expect anything cleaner when i got hyped up.... =.=''

anyway, after fed up of feeding those pesky mosquitoes, we decided to head back to our own room... phan joined me, wan yian, may yoong, and yong hui in a few games of Uno... this is because we wanted to watch the sun rise, and decided not to fall asleep... after thousand games of Uno (with me losing EVERY round), at around 5am, we can't keep our eyes open anymore... so we decided to give up and went back to sleep... =.='''

i will never play with yong hui's card anymore... =.=''

well that concluded what we did on the last day of our trip... =.='' although technically that's two day's entry... since the last part happened after 12am... but don't mind the detail lah...
